Therefore, this service is strictly available under the Tier 2 (Direct Recharge) model and requires a valid grant COA. For subsidized, no-cost HPC and GPU access, researchers must utilize the on-premise UCR HPCC.

• Each Ursa Major Cluster is ephemeral and can be started and stopped as often as you like without losing data.
• Each Ursa Major Cluster is elastic and scales/descales to however many cores or memory or GPU your research needs based on cluster load (Billed via Tier 2 Recharge).

• Each Ursa Major Cluster is connected to an Ursa Major’s virtually unlimited-sized parallel high-speed storage as well as the Ursa Major’s General Research Storage.
